Neocirrus® Augmented Gingival Matrix is a unique gelatin electrospinning matrix designed specifically for the gain of Keratinized Mucosa and enlarge vestibular sulcus depth in vestibuloplasty procedure.

Three-layer structures

The unique sandwich structure is made up by Gelatin-PCL-Gelatin. The upper and lower gelatin layers serve as a carrier material for tissue regeneration and the PCL layer as a mechanical stabilize.

Soft Tissue Integration

The sub-micrometer-scale fiber structure designed provides a good scaffold environment facilitates soft tissue cell ingrowth and good integration of the matrix with the surrounding tissues.

Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix need hydration prior for 5-10 seconds with saline before application. The hydrated Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix can fit well with the wound.

Does Neocirrus® Augmented Gingival Matrix shrink after hydration?

The length and width of AGM will shrink by about 10% after hydration. The thickness will expand slightly.

Can Neocirrus® Augmented Gingival Matrix be stretched?

Yes. Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix can be stretched. The PCL layer provides good tensile properties for Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix.

We suggest using a 5-0 absorbable suture to secure the partial thickness flap to the periosteum and using a 6-0 non-absorbable suture to fixed Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix to the wound.

In the majority of the clinical cases reported with Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix, one piece of Neocirrus™ Augmented Gingival Matrix was used.
